Islamic groups in Nigeria copying Pentecostal worship style to stop Muslims going to church and converting

“If you can’t fight ’em, copy their style.” There used to be more Muslims than Christians in Nigeria. According to the Pew Research Center, in 1953, 45.3 percent of Nigeria’s population was Muslim and only 21.4 percent Christian, with 33.3 percent belonging to other religions. Nigeria now has the largest Christian population in Africa, which includes nearly 60 million Protestants, about 20 million Catholics and more than 750,000 other Christians.   Read More…
